• Mandelic Acid (L): An alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) with a larger molecular structure than glycolic acid that assists at increasing cellular exfoliation and antibacterial support on acne skin. It is better tolerated on most skin, without the risk of causing sensitivities or irritations, like its AHA-relative, glycolic acid.
• Arginine (L): One of the 20 semi-essential amino acids present in proteins, this ingredient converts into nitric oxide within the body, increasing blood flow and resulting in an increase in wound-healing capabilities.
• Phytic Acid: Considered a phytonutrient by providing natural antioxidant protection due to its potent chelating effects on iron which can deprive cells of vital minerals needed for healthy replication.
• Pyruvic Acid: A key active to several metabolic pathways and part of the Krebs cycle of respiration, this ingredient supplies energy to living cells and can be quickly converted into energy as the cells need it.
